What will take liquid wax residue spots off of truck windshield? - liquid wax

I bought a truck from a dealer that someone uses in their ultimate wisdom liquid wax to the windshield, and dried, so that the points that constitute a threat to the visibility especially at night or during the night in the rain.

I have tried: dishwashing liquid, vinegar, alcohol, ammonia, Lysol, ammonia, vinegar and dishwashing liquid, vinegar and cream of tartar, gasoline. Nothing even begins to clean the dirt from the windows! I called Goo Gone, which says that the disintegration of rubber around the windows, it is gone, too. Other ideas?

Try a glass cleaner, but instead of wiping with a rag, rub Detailer tone (try Pep Boys) ... Retail is the tone, for removing the old wax and contamination of painted surfaces, but it works well .... If this glass is not to try to glass cleaner and fine steel wool (0000 or 000 degrees).
